Easter Is Coming!

This is the highest celebration for followers of Jesus. The events that we remember over these days have brought us salvation in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. As we continue our preparation for Easter, it is certainly a season of prayer. Over the next 4 weeks, you will be invited to take time to pray. In this center section of the bulletin, there will be suggestions and opportunities to pray.
The sermon theme for this Sunday is “Religious and Secular Authorities”. These people thought they knew all there was to know about God and how God interacted with people. In contrast – the call from God is to give glory to Son.
This Sunday, our prayer will begin with these adapted verses from John 17. I will invite you to join me to pray these words:
Glorify the Son, as the Son glorified God.God granted Jesus authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those who were given him. Now this is eternal life: that we may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, who has been sent by God.
As you continue in prayer this week – look for things to glorify God, to glorify Jesus Christ as our Saviour.
