Questions

James gives us a five-point checklist .  He invites us to:

1. Check our Motives – motives are often behind our inter-personal struggles. Examine your relationships and see if there are underlying motives that are impacting your relationships.
2. Check our Orientation – Is our orientation toward God or toward the world. How can you tell?
3. Check our Heart – Pride is always a troubling vice. In what areas of your life do you struggle most with pride?
4. Check our Attitude – Judgmentalism is, it seems, rather prevalent in the church. Where do you find your attitude needs adjusting?
5. Check our Intentions – Even as Christians we are often prone to run ahead of God. What areas of your life do you need to turn control over back to God?
