1.      Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour? If your answer is yes, share your faith story with someone this week. If your answer is no, why not accept Jesus today?

2.      If/when you lack assurance of your faith, whose voice are you listening to? What does this voice say? Do you believe the accusations and claims, or do you dispute them?

3.      Here are some practical ways to do battle: Scripture, Songs and a Spiritual Friend

Memorize and use scripture:

John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

Hebrews 10:22-23 “Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. ²³ Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”

Sing & Listen to Songs:

            ie. A Mighty Fortress is Our God, Blessed Assurance, Now I Belong to Jesus.

Find a spiritual friend – a brother or sister in the Lord, a counsellor, or a pastor.
