Texts: Mark 5:21-43; Luke 7:11-17; John 11:1-44, Matthew 28:1-10

Questions:

1. The resurrection of our Lord is the most profoundly worldview-altering event in all of history.  List some ways in which Christ’s resurrection changes how we live.
2. Why do you think Jesus did the three ‘resurrection miracles’ that the gospels record for us?
3. Each of the three people Jesus raised from the dead ended up dying again.  Do you think they faced death differently the second time?
4. Some of the most poignant moments we face happen at the graveside of a loved one. Nowhere is the pain of death more apparent. How much more difficult would those moments be if we didn’t have Jesus’ assurance of new life when he returns.
5. In what practical ways does the resurrection change how we live? In what ways does the resurrection change how we approach our mission?
