Questions for Reflection:

1. Could Jesus' commendation to the church at Thyatira be applicable to Clearbrook church: love, faith, service and perseverance? In what ways do we see these four elements as part of our church life?

2. Jesus speaks of their later deeds being greater than their first. Does this resemble our personal lives and the life of our church?

3. Much of this letter focuses upon the one to whom we are listening. Are we listening to a self-styled prophet/prophetess or are we listening to the Spirit?

4. How do we hold fast until Jesus comes?
